Abstract

In the archaeological campaign carried out at Calle María Cristina in Córdoba, behind the Great Roman Temple, a series of stratigraphic items were unearthed in 1994 and 1995 from what formed part of a rubbish dump. This dump contained numerous fragments of ceramic and building material in a very dark sediment resulting from decomposition organic matter. It has been dated somewhere between the end of 4th Century and the first half of 5th Century A.D. (JIMÉNEZ y RUIZ, 1994, 134). It is our aim to analyse in detail the ceramic samples taken from this deposit in the hope that it will permit us to understand what was produced in such a critical time for the Colonia Patricia. Below is a sample of this study.
