Abstract

Here are two new fragments of sarcophagi from the Christian antiquity in Cordoba. They have presumably belonged to the near necropolis of Cercadilla. Fragment 1 (340-350) was found lying as threshold at a hispano-mussulman house, and portrays the raising of Lazarus, the sacrifice of Isaac, and Jesus feeding five thousand. Fragment 2, from the Constantinian age, only conserves a relief with the raising of Lazarus.
