Abstract

The paper analyze the new developments in the investigation of the site of the City preRoman and Roman of Lancia, in Villasabariego (León, Spain), in the light of the new finding as well as of the new view of certain architectonic structures. In the work count becomes of the archaeological data that prove the presence of some prehistoric and protohistoric cultural phases. On the other hand, also the new developments on the location in the archaeological excavations of 1997 and 1998 of new levels of the Iron Age, as well as of the new obtained data of an establishment of baths (balneum) and the location of a market (macellum) in the center of the Roman City.
