Casa con pórtico de época califal en el arrabal noroccidental de Córdoba

Abstract

Over the last decade, as Cordoba has spread westward, the extent of the city during the Caliphate has come to light. Archeological discoveries of domestic artefacts in the latest zones to be developed tell of a dense Hispano-Muslim population reaching out to create suburbs to the north and west. A fine example of this domestic architecture can be seen in the house with portico examined in this article, this finding was documented during the construction work for the new bus station in Cordoba.
