The richness of agricultural resources in the Vega of Granada contributed to the proliferation of estates or villae during the Roman period, where its exploitation was leaded. Many of them purchased during the ending of IIIth and IVth-Vth centuries A.C. display systems in which mosaics had a fundamental role.
