Abstract

Recent finding in Cordova of block with decoration pseudoarchitectonic with pilaster and garland, that we can tie to a monument in the form of “edicola” with which as much they abound in Hispania, has allowed to reframe questions regarding the arrival of funeral models to the capital of Baetica and its dispersion by the nearest territory. In our work we will make a revision of this decorative type in the peninsular South, to realize of which the used model and the quality of the working turn to the Cordovan piece into a key element in which to the diffusion of this type of monumenta it talks about in Means and High Guadalquivir.
