Abstract

The present article has the objetive of compile and update one of the less known aspects about the Roman period constructive process: Stone-cutter’s mark in Colonia Patricia. Although this kind of signs abounds principally in Medieval architecture, its existence it notes from the antiquity, it appears in Roman buildings, principally in the Republican period and sporadicaly reappearig during the Imperial period.
