Abstract

The funeral sector of the eastern necropolis of Corduba found in the Magdalena's Square shows two phases of use differentiated clearly, as much by the rite used as by the tratment offered to the structures related to the depositions of corpses. In first phase, monumental, an important via sepulchralis was documented where the rich social classes are buried. The second moment of use defines a less important cementerial sector with poor tombs, emphasizing several infantile burial in urn of Iberian tradition.
