Abstract

The present article try to make an exhaustive review of roman chapiters at the ancient Astigi. After the analysis and the correspondent chronologist assignation that derives from their characteristics, we try to give an overview of the evolution of the architectonic decoration through the elements that best defines an order. The pieces tell us about an opulent and very romaniced city linked to the Urbs, about the presence of marmorean workshops that actively works in Astigi, and about two main constructions tendencies: the first one, foundational, at the begining of the s. I a. D. and the other, of great breadth, realized at the s. II a. D.
