The question of when and why object pronominal suffixes were employed in Christian Palestinian Aramaic in the various text translations from Greek cannot be easily solved. The text material despite the New Finds from the Monastery of St Catherine on Mt Sinai remains fragmentary. The study tries to put together the examples which can be gleaned from the different text genres and to reach an understanding of their distribution and usage.
