<p align="center"><strong>1</strong><strong>. Publication and authorship</strong></p>
<p><em>Collectanea Christiana Orientalia </em>is indexed in SCOPUS, DICE (<em>Difusión y Calidad Editorial de las Revistas Españolas de Humanidades y Ciencias Sociales y Jurídica</em>, CSIC, Spain), ANEP, RESH, MIAR (Information Matrix for Evaluating Journals, Universitat de Barcelona, Spain), CIRC, CARHUS PLUS, AERES, ULRICH'S, LATINDEX, DIALNET, REGESTA IMPERII (RI, <em>Akademie der Wissenschaften und der Literatur</em>, Mainz, Germany), Harvard College Library, Library of Congress, ISOC – CIENCIAS SOCIALES Y HUMANIDADES (CSIC, Spain), a360 Grados and WorldCat, and it has been accepted for its evaluation in ERIH-NSD. </p>
<p>The journal is published with the financial support of the <em>Córdoba Near Eastern Research Unit </em>(CNERU) of the Universidad de Córdoba (Spain) and the Centre de documentation et de recherches arabes chrétiennes (CEDRAC, Beirut, Lebanon) and the Institute for Graeco-Oriental and African Studies (IGOAS, Athens, Greece).</p>
<p><em>Collectanea Christiana Orientalia </em>expects that the authors will observe high standards with respect to publication ethics: plagiarism – being forbidden to publish same research in more than one journal –, duplicate publication of the authors’ own work – in whole or in part without proper citation – and misappropriation of the work of others authors. Allegations of unethical conduct will be discussed initially with the corresponding author. In the event of continued dispute the matter will be referred to the author's institution and funding agencies for investigation and adjudication.</p>

<p align="center"><strong>2</strong><strong>. Author</strong>ʼ<strong>s responsibilities</strong></p>
<p>Authors are obliged to participate in a peer review proces. The journal expect that all the authors have significantly contributed to the research sent for evaluation, and that all data included in their articles are real and authentic. We urge that all authors are obliged to provide retractions or corrections of mistakes.</p>

<p align="center"><strong>3</strong><strong>. Peer review and responsibility for the reviewers</strong></p>
<p><em>Collectanea Christiana Orientalia</em>’s peer review judgments will be objective and the reviewers should have no conflict of interest with respect to the research, the authors and/or the research funders. In this sense, the journal confirms that the reviewers should point out relevant published work which is not yet cited, and that reviewed articles should be treated confidentially.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>4</strong><strong>. Editorial responsibilities</strong></p>
<p>The journal’s editors assume complete responsibility and authority to reject or accept an article, the editors confirm that have no conflict of interest with respect to articles they reject/accept, that will only accept a paper when they are reasonably certain of its authenticity. If errors are found, the editors will promote publication of correction or retraction, preserving the anonymity of reviewers.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>5</strong><strong>. Publishing ethics issues</strong></p>
<p>Publishing ethics will be monitored and safeguarded by the journal editorial board on the basis of a use of guidelines for retracting articles, and a maintenance of the integrity of the academic record. The journal always will be willing to publish corrections, clarifications, retractions and apologies, when needed, on the basis that neither plagiarism nor fraudulent data will be published.</p>
