New Testament translations from the Cairo Genizah

Abstract

The goal of this article is to present the contents and to analyse the language and historical context of different types of New Testament translations preserved in the Taylor-Schechter Genizah Collection (Cambridge University Library): printed Judeo- Arabic, and Arabic translations, Coptic lectionaries, and a Syriac fragment.
