Testament and sale in Toledo (years 1214 and 1215). Two Arabic documents by the Mozarabs of Toledo

Abstract

I present here an edition, translation and linguistic notes of two unpublished Arabic documents located in the Cathedral of Toledo Library. They consist of a will (dated 1214) and a purchase agreement (dated 1215). Both documents appear under the same catalogue number because the latter includes the purchase agreement of a house owned by the woman who was the testatrix as it was referred to in the first document.
