Two illuminations in Ms. Vatican Coptic 9 (year 1204-1205)

Abstract

This is an analysis of two miniatures, St. Luke with the angel and St. John with the Virgin in the MS. Vat. Copt. 9, focused on the frontispieces of the respective Gospels.
