Abstract
We attempt to approach in this paper the characteristics of Messiah in Rabbinical literature, starting from the expression in the “Messiah’s days” till a further deep characterization. Rabbinical testimonies reveal contradictory opinions, not only because of religious questions, but also of political ones. These opinions raise the image of a more complex Messiah , who is identified with a name and a particular lineage.
