The Ocampos of Granada and the descendants of the Great Captain: a lawsuit for feudal goods in Naples (1505-1540)
Main Article Content
Abstract
The Great Captain conceded a manor in the Kingdom of Naples to his subordinate Nuño de Ocampo during its conquest. This eventually led to a process between the grandson of the first and the successor of the latter as the king Ferdinand had ordered to return those goods to their previous owners. Years later the process was closed through a private agreement with legal confirmation.
