Abstract

Exploring the Language of Adventure Tourism: A Corpus-Assisted Approach (2024), edited by Isabel Durán-Muñoz (UCO) and Eva Lucía Jiménez-Navarro (UCO), is a compilation of works which offers an in-depth analysis of the language related to adventure tourism through a methodology using corpora. This volume therefore comprises a series of papers whose objective is to describe the lexical uniqueness of adventure tourism across multiple languages, that is, Spanish, English, and Italian, through various lenses such as linguistics, semantics, and pragmatics, and aided by authentic language.
