Resumo
From 2009, within the frame of a process of de-monopolization of audiovisual communication, several public policies were developed in Argentina with the purpose of extending participation in the production of audiovisual contents. In this paper, the main aesthetic qualities of an audiovisual program, Las aventuras de Zamba, produced by a State-run TV channel for children, are analyzed. Some tensions risen in the relationship state / market, producing artistic representations about otherness, are examined.
