Abstract

A study on the vascular flora of Pandera and Alta Coloma mountains (SW. Jaén, Spain) based in the collected plant material from 1994 to 1996 has been carried out. The study territory is characterized by a contrasted geomorphology, varying from the smooth hills of the northern zones (constituted by Miocene marls and occupied by olive cropping) to the sheer high ranges of the central and souhern areas (where calcaric substrata and cattle activities are predominant). We contribute a catalogue with 1046 taxa comprising species, subspecies and varieties, grouped in 86 botanic families. We provide synonimies and data on the location, chorology, relative abundance and phytosociology for each taxon.
