FLORISTIC CATALOGUE OF SIERRA QUINTANA: SIERRA MORENA (ANDÚJAR-JAÉN)

Abstract

A floristic study on the Sierra Quintana, located within the Andújar Natural Park (Jaén) are given, recovering 729 plant species. For each taxon herborized in concrete phytocenosis an ecological and phytosociological study was also carried out. For those species considered as interesting for the natural parks in the Andalusian Sierra Morena, a map containing their territorial distribution is also given. The species considered of interest are those becoming endemicms or botanical rarieties, some of them are unique for Andalusia: Coincya longirostra, Digitalis purpurea subsp. heywoodii, D. purpurea subsp. mariana, Digitalis thapsi, Jasione crispa subsp. mariana, J. crispa subsp. tomentosa, Sideritis lacaitae, Linaria coutinhoi, Linaria saxatilis, Frangula alnus subsp. baetica, Leucanthemopsis falveola, Adenocarpus hispanicus subsp. argyrophyllus, Osmunda regalis var. plumieri, Tuberaria lignosa, Erica tetralix, Genista tridentata, Cicendia filiformis, Exacullum pusillum, Blechnum spicant, Pinguicula lusitanica, Sibthorpia europaea etc.
