Patrimonial Declaration of the Dry Stone Walls: analysis of the enhancement of the Intangible Heritage in the Pedroches Valley (Cordoba, Spain).

Abstract
In 2018, the Knowledge and technique for the construction of dry-stone walls was inscribed on the Intangible Cultural Heritage List. Its declaration has not had the necessary relevance within the development of a community, especially, the rural one. To give value to this heritage element not only contributes to the protection and conservation of this construction method, but it is also an example of international cooperation as it is a joint denomination that seeks to protect a heritage that promotes the identity of a society. Today it is only possible to transmit it by the workers of the rural world. Therefore, it is necessary to enhance its value, not only for the visibility and positioning given to the localities and therefore the possibilities for social and economic development in that society, but also because the transmission of knowledge to future generations will allow its proper preservation. Since culture and heritage are a key factor in development, not only economically, but also in terms of environmental conservation and social equity. Promoting sustainable development, through a cultural management that incorporates adaptation to climate change. For this reason, it takes into consideration measures presented in the Comarca de Los Pedroches, where dry stone constructions abound, which sometimes have managed to put in value and in others the heritage is in danger for its conservation.
