Abstract

In this article we will go over every edition of sister Juana Inés de la Cruz’s literatura with the objective to highlight some of the ways in which her authorship, her work and her publications are legitimized. We will concentrate specially in the preliminaries and paratexts that point to each other, not only inside one book, but between printings to show the discursive and editorial resources that build sister Juana’s work.
