ANALYSIS OF THE HEGEMONY OF POETRY OF EXPERIENCE IN SPAIN. History of a lyrical model

Abstract

This article analyses the historical, social and poetic context in which the positioning of the poets of experience as a hegemonic group in the Spanish poetic field has been developed. The singularity of this dominance lies in the duration of its hegemony, since until now no other collective had managed to establish itself as a reference within the standards of the poetic canon during a temporary period of thirty years. Its recognition in the nineties was the beginning of a phenomenon without precedent in the Spanish scene.
