Abstract
A lot of religions and schools of thought converged in Japan during its History. Throughout 16th and 17th centuries, Christianity joined that group of religions. The first missionaries achieved a great success in evangelization’s process. It could not be possible if there was no common point between Christianity and the Japanese religions as Shintoism, Buddhism or Confucianism. Nevertheless the disagreements existed, so it was hard to find similarities between occidental and oriental religious minds, but despite this problem it was possible.
