Abstract
The analysis of the collective attitudes towards death, which has as its main source the notarial documentation, has been one of the major topics of Spanish historiography in recent decades. Most of the work that has been done on this topic, has dealt with the urban environment. The rural environment, which has been less attended to by historians, is the analyzed in this article through the study of the behaviors towards death in Cabra in the years 1700, 1750 and 1833.
