APPROACH TO THE CONCEPT OF HAPPINESS IN THE LIBERAL REVOLUTIONS (1776-1848)

Abstract

Approach to the analysis of the transit from the Old to the New regime, and the influence of the ideas of the Enlightenment in the legal texts of the moment. The corpus of our work are the works and the thought of intellectuals of the time such as: François Marie Arouet (Voltaire), Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Immanuel Kant, Nicolas de Condorcet, Olympe de Gouges and John Stuart Mill, among others. Through their writings we intend to approach their vision on the concept of HAPPINESS. Then we will analyze how this concept was extrapolated to the legal texts of the time.
