Something else about kanīsiy(y)ah

Abstract

Our aim in this article is to add new information about the posible etymon of the term kanīsiy(y)ah, which has received the atention of conspicuous researchers, essentially Professor F. Corriente, in order to propose a possible mediation of Arabized Christians of Syrian origin living in Sicily in the transmission of 
the term to al-Andalus.
