On the expression Ibn al-Naǧǧār

Abstract

Our aim in this article is to analyze the expression Ibn al-Naǧǧār from Américo Castro’s explanation. Our analysis is preceded by a remark on the most immediate context in which the author realized his philological work, just to propose a different solution to the explanation given by Castro.
