Abstract

This article focuses on the theme friendship and philosophy in the twelfth century writer, Aelred of Rievaulx. In order to analyze the issue, it was especially convenient to allude to Cicero and Christianity. Plato, Aristotle, St. Jerome and St. Augustine are also mentioned.
