Leo Strauss y el pensamiento de Tomás de Aquino / Leo Strauss' and Thomas Aquinas' Thought

Main Article Content

María A. VANNEY

Abstract

This article highlights some of the important reasons that explain the originally way Strauss interprets Thomas Aquinas’s thought. Although they both share some ideas, the radical separation that Strauss draws between philosophy and revelation does not allow him to draw any thomistic conclusion as philosophical, which is especially critical in his interpretation of Aristotle. These issues are brought into light especially in what has to do with the concept of natural law, synderesis, virtue and nature.
