PLANT ANATOMY AS IDENTIFICATION METHOD IN ETHNOBOTANY

Abstract

Ethnobotany is a multidisciplinary science that frequently needs additional techniques. The ethnobotanical working methods and the interpretation of its results are complex. The applicability of the information derived from the anatomical analysis as a taxonomical element for the identification of the plant samples is discussed in this paper.
