Abstract

Rekhmire was governor of the city and vizier of Upper Egypt in one of the most flourishing periods of Ancient Egypt, XVIII Dynasty, during the reign of Thutmose III in the city of Thebes. The tangible testimony of the power acquired by a Vizier is the TT100, his abode of eternity, which was never used due to the early disappearance of Governor Rekhmire.
