Resumen

The use of new technologies in educational practice is a research object for many researchers, causing intense mobilization and reflection. Globalization and the movement of populations make imperative the need to develop educational policy in order to explore it at an international level and highlight diversity and interculturalism for the benefit of society. New technologies are one of the most important resources in the educational process, as means for the knowledge transmission, development of critical thinking and problem solving. The purpose of this study is to highlight the usefulness of ICT and new technologies in intercultural education. The research results showed that the majority of teachers believe to a large extent that the use of new technologies contributes to the wider progress of society. Also, significant differences were found in the use of computer for the preparation of their teaching in favor of women. Moreover, it is highlighted that students, through the use of ICT, participate more actively in the educational process compared to the traditional way of teaching without the use of ICT. Thus, we present a line of study that emphasizes the importance of the utilization of ICT during the entire educational process in an educational intercultural environment.
