In an increasingly interconnected and multicultural world, bilingual education has become a cornerstone for preparing new generations to face the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century. With great enthusiasm, we present the first issue of Insights on Bilingual Education (IBE), a journal dedicated to exploring, analyzing, and sharing best practices and the latest research developments in the field of bilingual education. We aim to contribute to a future where multilingualism and intercultural understanding are the norm, and not the exception.

Vol. 2 No. 1 (2025)
In this new issue, we present a selection of interesting articles on the use of information and communication technologies in bilingual education contexts, the incorporation of motor stories into the primary school classroom, systematic work on pronunciation, the importance of creativity, and the stimulation of pupils’ corpus callosum in Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL). The issue concludes with a lucid review of an empirical study on the benefits of gamification as a learner-centred methodology.
