Abstract

This study presents a systematic classification of web resources dedicated to the history of mathematics and examines their potential to support educational processes, particularly in the context of secondary education. Using a qualitative descriptive–analytical methodology, four types of resources were identified and categorized: academic and professional repositories, educational and outreach portals, specialized blogs and personal sites, and international or institutional sources. The results show that these categories fulfill complementary functions with respect to academic rigor, accessibility, historical depth, and didactic applicability. The study concludes that the richness and diversity of these resources foster the creation of learning opportunities based on autonomous exploration, the design of contextualized activities, and the availability of high-quality historical materials.
