Abstract

Three plane trigonometry problems are presented that were proposed or solved in English by the Spanish sailor and mathematician Pedro José Rodríguez Riola in a New York mathematical newspaper. Based on them, a set of teaching and learning activities have also been designed that are based on them and whose recipients are the bilingual Hight School students.
