Information For Authors

We recommend review the About the Journal page for the journal's section policies, as well as the Author Guidelines. Authors need to register with the journal prior to submitting or, if already registered, can simply log in and begin the five-step process.

Proposals sent to MES must include:

  1. A title no longer than 12 words or that can be summarized within this extension. A summary comprising between 7 and 10 lines (100-150 words, approximately) and between 4-8 keywords. The title of the paper, the summary and the keywords must be sent in English, as well.
  2. An introduction containing the justification of the research problem (or the topic/experience) of the article.
  3. Information about the research methodology, description of the population or sample, data collection techniques, instruments, etc.
  4. Analysis of results or examples.
  5. Conclusions or implications of the article.
  6. Bibliographic references (APA format).
  7. Information about the authors: name, surname, e-mail, website (if applicable), organizational affiliation and a brief biographical review.

All articles submitted must be sent in Word format, using the template provided.

As the arbitration process comprises a double-blind peer review, we kindly ask the authors to replace their names with the formulation “XXX” in the first submission. The latter will apply also to the section containing bibliographic references, as well as in-text citations or other specific mentions that may allude to the authors.  A full version of the manuscript, including names, in-text citations, bibliographic references and mentions will be sent as well in PDF format, likewise.

Once the article is accepted for its publication, the corresponding author will be asked to sign a letter implying a cession of copyrights on behalf of all the authors of the paper.
