DIDACTIC DESIGN-INTERVENTION VIOLIST-AWARE: FACING STAGE FRIGHT, BECOME AWARE TO MAXIMIZE ENJOYMENT

Abstract
Within Education, Music plays an important role in achieving academic and personal development goals. In this field, a cohesion between Psychology and Education has been developing; this has given rise to new disciplines in Spain, such as Music Therapy (Bruscia, 2017) or new pedagogical studies in the care of the four dimensions of the person in learning, which we echo here. Within this framework, we present a didactic design-intervention carried out in a Professional Conservatory and developed for the 6th year of Professional Education, in the subject of the main instrument: viola, to solve stage fright, a pathology with a high rate of occurrence. This design has consisted in the knowledge and practice of different techniques, scientifically supported, with a student body that works continuously on self-knowledge, resilience and emotions; but, rarely, supported by a concrete discernment of the processes they are facing.
