Abstract
La «Consolación de la Filosofía» ha sido, indubitablemente, una de las obras de mayor influjo en todo el devenir del pensamiento medieval, y presenta todo un caudal de dimensiones ocultas de ingente riqueza. En el presente estudio nos ocuparemos de analizar la presencia de la Poesía y la Música en la obra magna de Boecio, demostrando que desempeña un papel absolutamente central no solo en la citada obra, sino en todo el compendio de su pensamiento.
Consolatio Philosophiae, unquestionably one of the most influential works in the development of medieval thought, presents an incredible richness in terms of occult dimensions. This paper analyses the position which poetry and music assume, showing that they play a central role not only in this work, but also in his philosophical production as a whole.
