NEW TECHNOLOGIES APPLIED TO TEACHING. INTERDISCIPLINARITY BETWEEN COURSES

Abstract

In this work practical Chemistry experiments are designed to be carried out in the classroom. Chemical concept animations have also been selected in order to facilitate the study of this Science. Such resources are shown both in Spanish and English since they are expected to be useful both for Chemistry and Translation students. The project is organised to get the most of teachers' expertise in their fields: Chemistry and English Translation. Thus, as a result of the sinergy obtained between Sciences and Specialised Translation, students' training will be considerably improved. This work has been developed by using the web 2.0. to contain the designed resources and create a database in Moodle Learning Environment that will be further developed in the future.
