Abstract

The present project is based on the use of TICs to improve the teaching/learning process in the subjects of Physics in Engineering. Specifically, a new teaching methodology for problem solving, based on the use of Classroom Response Systems, has been designed with the objective of encouraging students to acquire the competence of scientific reasoning applied to physics problem solving in the field of engineering. It has been proven that Classroom Response Systems are very useful in the teaching/learning process since they promote students’ participation, attention and motivation, favor teacher-student feedback and help students to deal more safely to problem solving and evaluation activities.
