Abstract

Se cumplen 150 años de la COnstitución espñaola de 1869 y del consiguiente e inmediato Código Penal de 1870 que supusieron un avance legislativo democrático de enormes proporciones para la España del Sexenio democrático (1868-1874). Este Código Penal que nació con cierta vocación de provisionalidad fue sin embargo el de más larga vigencia y experimentó diversas y sucesivas reformas y la promulgación de diferentes leyes específicas y decretos que lo desarrollaron y completaron durante su larga vigencia hasta 1925. En esta aportación se estudian las normas legales que al respecto se promulgaron durante el Sexenio Democrático hasta 1874
