With recourse to his varied autobiographical writings, this text deals with the process of vocation, training and professional performance of the novelist from Granada Francisco Ayala in his role as a jurist: he was a official lawyer of the parliamentary courts and a professor of Political Law, before leading academically in exile towards teaching and research within the fields of Sociology and Literature
