UNFAIR ADMINISTRATION IN SPANISH CRIMINAL LAW

This article provides a historical overview of Spanish criminal codification, taking as a reference the criminalization of unfair administration. To this end, it exhaustively analyzes the treatment of conduct consisting of unfairly administering the assets of others in criminal legislation. The content of the most relevant criminal legislation -projected and approved- since 1822, related to this type of behaviors, will allow us to increase our knowledge regarding the current crime of generic unfair administration (article 252) included in the Spanish Criminal Code.
