International Law originates from crucial historical antecedents, notably the encounter between Europe and America in 1492. Despite its significance, this event brought unfavorable consequences for indigenous populations, leading to conflicts and colonial practices. This situation prompted the necessity to regulate relations between states and protect native communities. Over time, these experiences have contributed to the development of standards and principles in International Law, addressing issues such as sovereignty, human rights, and respect for cultural diversity.
