About the Journal
Revista CODEX. Anuario de Ciencias Histórico-Jurídicas is an annual scientific journal promoted by the Instituto Español de Ciencias Histórico-Jurídicas in collaboration with the Córdoba Provincial Council and the University of Córdoba, and published by UCOPress University of Córdoba Press. Its aim is to provide an open academic space for reflection and the dissemination of research in the field of historical-legal studies, including Legal History, Roman Law, Philosophy of Law, and other related disciplines.
The journal adopts a broad and interdisciplinary approach, seeking to foster dialogue among different areas of legal scholarship and to serve as a meeting point for researchers, jurists, and professionals interested in the historical analysis of legal institutions, categories, and values. In doing so, it aims to promote the dissemination of high-quality research and to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in this field.
