Abstract

This work deals with the second novel of Fantômas' sequence, a series that will be popular narrative great success in France in the first decades of the XXth Century. On the basis of the full text publication, reedited by Laffont in 2013, and the Spanish translation by Gerardo Escodín, it is made a structural analysis that highlights the narrative structure and the chronotopical coordinates, complemented by the traductological scrutiny devoted to three levels: the morphosyntactic stage, the lexico-semantic one and the pragmatic-cultural level.
