Publication Guidelines

Preliminary Statement

  1. All works submitted to the journal’s Editorial Office must comply with the publication criteria; otherwise, they will not be accepted.

  2. Only original, unpublished works that have not been submitted simultaneously to other publications will be accepted. Manuscripts must not exceed 7,000 words, except in exceptional cases or at the request of the Editorial Board.

  3. The Journal’s Management may indicate to the author(s) any corrections it deems appropriate, based on the corresponding report by external reviewers, through a blind peer-review process in which reviewers will not know the author’s identity. Failure to accept this condition will result in the work not being submitted for evaluation.

  4. Alfinge is not responsible for the content of the published articles.

  5. The deadline for submitting works eligible for publication is September 30 each year.

Submission of Contributions: Formatting Guidelines

  1. All works submitted for external evaluation and subsequent acceptance must include a title, abstract, and keywords in both Spanish and English.

  2. Contributions may be written in Spanish or English, or in French, German, Italian, and Portuguese. If the language of the manuscript is not Spanish or English, a title, abstract, and keywords must also be provided in that same language.

  3. Authors must use the journal’s style sheet. Two style sheets are provided: one for articles and another for reviews.

  1. Failure to use the style sheet and apply the complementary guidelines will result in the immediate rejection of the submission.

  2. The journal’s Editorial Committee will remove authorship data to guarantee confidentiality in the blind peer-review process.

  3. Authors must complete the metadata during the submission process. Inclusion of an ORCID code is mandatory. If authors do not have one, they must obtain it prior to submission. Abstracts must also be included in the different languages. In cases of multiple authorship, the data of all authors must be included in the metadata.
