Garcilaso, del petrarquismo al clasicismo. A vueltas con la trayectoria poética y su interpretación

Abstract

The present article questions Garcilaso’s commoníy accepted trayectoria poética through the analysis of this author's evolulion from Petrarchism to the poetic genres with elassie sources. The study of complcx aspeets ¡n Garcilaso’s work such as the íransformations ¡n the poetic voice, the variety of themes, the use of mythology, the meía- poetic conscience, or the manifold aspeets, necessarily needs to depart from the analysis of the generic rules accepted by the poet on every particular occasion. This is the only possible way to provide the diachronic (Rafael Lapesa) and synchronic (Nadine Ly) approaches lo Garcilaso's work with a cohcrcnt homogeneity. This is also the only way to consider the possible relevance of issucs as frequently debated as the Garcilasian reading autographico modo.
