The Importance of Multilateralism for the Promotion of Renewed Development Patterns in Latin America

Abstract

Based on a global context that presents profound structural changes, this article proposes the promotion of new development patterns for Latin America, based on Global Agreements and a more effective multilateralism, that are expressed in renewed development patterns and public policies that promote more comprehensive visions that lead governments and organized civil society groups towards more  inclusive actions based on knowledge, innovation and technology, and principles of circular economy and  bioeconomy; territorial development, the reduction of the digital gap,  value chain approaches and the implementation of innovative financing mechanisms for the development and reactivation of local economies.
